Ven. Pomnyun's Answer to " Does Enlightenment Change One’s Belief of the Truth?”

Selection from a Dharma Q&A session at Southdale Library, Minneapolis, Minnesota (Sep 12, 2018)

So, I come from many walks of life to seek truth in every form. I’ve become experienced at both extinguishing lies and determining truth by continuously questioning every aspect of the world around me.

As life progresses, I find that truth is tremendously more difficult to determine, and that lies are tremendously more difficult to extinguish.

I meditate occasionally, and one day I greatly hope to achieve enlightenment.

Does enlightenment change one’s belief of the nature of truth itself?
